MEDICINAL CANNABIS EXPLAINED
We all produce cannabis like molecules inside ourselves.
These 'endocannabinoids', are a vital part of our health regulatory systems (or ECS). They are essential messengers for health & wellbeing (homeostasis).
Plant cannabinoids aid our endocannabinoid systems (ECS) in different ways, supporting homeostasis.
Raw cannabis has no intoxicating effects. It is rich in essential acids and contains many different cannabinoid molecules,
Some of the proven health benefits of plant cannabinoids include being a brain protectant, a heart protectant, an anti-inflammatory, an antioxidant, a free radical scavenger, and an augmenter of homoeostasis.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is non-intoxicating.
Proven CBD effects include:
> pain reliever
> anti-ischaemic
> neuroprotectant
> anti-anxiety
> anti-inflammatory
> anti-epileptic
> anti-psychotic
> anti-emetic
> anti-spasmotic
> bone stimulant
> anti-psoriasis
> anti-diabetic
> vasorelaxant
> anti-bacterial
> anti-cancer
Cannabis with THCA that is heated above 120*c will form THC (although not all cannabis has THCA to begin with).
THC can get people high with enough dosage.
THC is still neuroprotective (brain protective).
THC is used for pain, pinched nerves, migraine, spasm, PTSD, insomnia, Parkinsons disease, Alzheimers disease, anxiety, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, lupus, arthritis, Crohns disease, IBS, autism, glaucoma, Tourettes syndrome and more.
There are many more useful cannabinoids
Doctors please titrate THC dose slowly up until symptom control.
